Spring Stir the Pot with Vivian Howard

We are thrilled to announce that the next helping of Stir the Pot, our biannual event series benefiting the Southern Foodways Alliance will be held on Sunday, May 13th

Joining us as guest chef for this special meal is Vivian Howard of Chef & the Farmer in Kinston, and star of A Chef’s Life on PBS. Instead of our usual dinner service, Vivian will be at the helm for a Mother’s Day brunch, starting at noon and hosted at Death & Taxes.

Tickets for the three-course brunch are $95 ++ (per guest) and can be purchased here.

We look forward to celebrating with you!

Repeal Day Dance Party!

Tuesday, December 5th is Repeal Day, which marks the anniversary of the end of prohibition. And what better way to celebrate than with some drinks and dancing? Join us at Fox Liquor Bar: we'll be slinging a few special Repeal Day cocktails featuring Old Forester Kentucky bourbon, while Nick Neptune of Good Times Assurance Co. spins some tunes for tapping your toes. The bar opens at 5pm, and Nick goes on at 9pm. See ya there, scofflaws. (RSVP on Facebook here.)

New Summer Menu Hits Fox Liquor Bar

It’s summer in NC, which means we’re constantly on the look out for our next break from the heat. Pooltime or a quick jaunt to the beach are great when you can swing them, but for days when you’re stuck in the city, consider the little subterranean oasis that is Fox Liquor Bar.

We’ve geared our latest menu toward the idea of capturing the ultimate staycation vibes. Think crushed ice, plenty of coconut cream, and some dreamy daiquiris. See the menu below, and don’t forget to #staycationatthefoxhole.

Independence Day Bourbon at Fox Liquor Bar

Our favorite way to get into the patriotic spirit? Bourbon. So in observance of Fourth of July, we'll be tapping into our limited stash of the highly allocated cult favorite Blanton's bourbon, and offering 2-ounce pours or mint juleps at a reduced price of $15. While you're at it, check out our brand new summer menu. See you at the Foxhole.

This offering is only available on Tuesday, July 4 while supplies last.
