Old World Red Blends For A Month Of Love

February Marrow Magnum Mondays
February is the month of love… at Death & Taxes.
Our Marrow Magnum Monday wine selections this month are all selected from Old World vineyards. We’ve chosen classic, palatable red blends that not only pair with our marrow, but all of our delicious new menu additions as well.
On February 4th, our selection is a Tenuta Monteti, "Caburnio," Bordeaux Blend from Italy. This savory Super-Tuscan blend from the seaside winery of Tenuta Monteti is silky, smooth, and beautifully aromatic.
On February 11th, we’ll feature “Brezeme” Cote-du-Rhones, by Eric Texier. Through all organic and minimal intervention winemaking, this cutting edge producer gives us a 100% Syrah wine from one of the top sites in the area. It is perfectly ripe, tasting like the summer's best blackberries dusted with black pepper and licorice.
On February 18th, our choice is Château de Parenchere, Bordeaux Supérieure. This wine is an intense red, with notes of dark fruit and elegant tannins; and is an example of the versatile wines coming out of Bordeaux that are immediately intended for the dinner table.
On February 25th, we’ll end the month with Domaine Pelican, "Trois Cépages," a blend of three grapes: Pinot Noir, Trousseau & Poulsard. From France’s easterly, Jura, this selection is full of bright red fruit flavors and zippy acidity; and will bring new meaning to food versatility.
You’ll truly be feeling all the love this February, with our wide range of Old World blends. Make your Monday reservation(s) here.
