Friday, 12/31: New Year's Eve Celebration! Prefixe Menu
It’s with a heavy heart that we announce thatChuck's will not be re-opening when COVID-19 restrictions lift.
This pandemic has been devastating to our industry, and we have spent the last few weeks thinking through solutions for survival, and how to bring our team back to work again.
We’ve made the decision that our best path forward is to do that thoughtfully by closing Chuck’s permanently, and expanding Beasley's Chicken + Honey into the former Chuck’s space. We are excited to pay homage to Chuck’s by bringing a few signature dishes over to the Beasley’s menu, including a burger, fries, and 2-3 shakes.
We love what we have built at Chuck’s over the past 8 1/2 years, and are grateful to have contributed to the downtown Raleigh community. While this decision is hard, we are optimistic for the future of our team, and our industry. We feel that we will have greater opportunity to bring more people back to work by expanding what we do at Beasley’s, and by continuing to evolve that restaurant’s offerings.
We have not yet decided on a reopening timeline at this time, as we continue to research and develop our safety protocols for staff and guests.
Thank you for the outpouring of thoughts and support during this time. We look forward to feeding you again soon!
The safety and well-being of our staff and guests is of
paramount importance to us. So we are closely monitoring the developments and
information about COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), and have taken extra
precautions to make sure that our restaurants are prepared.
We are in regular contact with leaders in the Department of
Health and Human Services, and have followed their directives thoroughly. We are also in contact with the restaurant
leaders in the community and have been sharing resources and support. It makes
us proud to be part of a community that lifts each other up and looks out for
each other!
As a rule, we follow meticulous cleaning and sanitizing procedures every day. We pride ourselves on a clean and safe workplace. In addition to our standard cleaning schedule, here are some of additional steps we’re taking:
Using disinfectant on high traffic surfaces and areas in both the dining room and the kitchen in hourly rotations
Making sure service tools like pens, menus, and check presenters are disinfected between each single use.
We are sourcing hand sanitizer for each restaurant for guests to use.
Our wonderful staff continues to be thorough and thoughtful
about frequent handwashing and sanitization. Those good habits have been in
place since the beginning, and will be upheld with extra vigilance. We have spoken
in depth with our team about the virus, including how it’s transmitted, and the
common symptoms. Our existing policy is that employees are not to come to work
sick, and that will continue to be enforced moving forward.
We hope that this puts your mind at ease. While we
understand and share the concern about this virus, please know that we are
taking every precaution and you can have confidence in the safety of these
spaces.
The Raleigh restaurant community will be thoroughly and devastatingly impacted if paranoia outweighs good practices and common sense. We urge you to continue supporting the local restaurant community. As Ashley likes to say, “hospitality is a relationship, not a transaction.” We are so grateful for our relationships with this city and stand ready to continue supporting and taking care of each other.

We’re having a house party in our basement, and you’re invited.
We’ll be reminiscing not only on an epic year, but an epic decade with a celebration that balances a fun night out with zero pretension. This gathering will have all the vibes of an awesome house party...but with the quality level of the drinks and snacks turned up to an 11.
Play your favorite basement board games along with classic house party games, like flip cup while you jam out to the best hits of the decade, playing on our boombox. For those ever-important New Year’s snacks, we’re putting a twist on your favorite finger foods-- think housemade Hot Pockets filled with sausage, tomato sauce, mushrooms, and cheese; black pepper parmesan popcorn; chips with guac; and loaded tater tots. (Color us nostalgic.)
As for beverages, we’ll be crafting a feature drink menu with punch and shooters, jello shots (a house party requisite, IMO) and of course, some bubbly options. Cozy up and hang out while watching the stream to the ball drop at midnight!
To ensure your spot and avoid a cover at the door, book your reservations here. Let’s have a foxy New Year’s Eve!
